Mary Newlin Whisenant

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Whisenant, age 77, of 34 Jenkins Rd, Fayetteville will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hills Cemetery, Fayetteville, Lincoln Co., TN. Mrs. Whisenant died Monday morning in Lincoln Medical Center. She was a native of Birmingham, Alabama and was the daughter of the late David A and Susan T. Dusenberry Newlin. She was a retired waitress and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include one daughter Linda C. Wilber of Fayetteville, three sons Larry Roger Whisenant of Mooresville, North Carolina, Richard Allen Whisenant of Fayetteville and Jeff Howard Whisenant, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-7PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
