Jerry B. Whisonant

BLACKSBURG – Jerry B. Whisonant, 45, husband of Maggie Bradley Whisonant, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at 7:14 p.m. in Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.

Son of Roberta Waddell Whisonant of Gaffney and the late Winfred Homer Whisonant Sr., he was a native of Winston Salem, N.C., and attended Bethel C.M.E. Church in Blacksburg. He was employed by Gaddy Food Industries in Hickory Grove and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Jerry B. Whisonant Jr. of the home; a sister, Brenda W. Thompson of Winston Salem; two brothers, Winfred H. Whisonant Jr. of Blacksburg and Michael David Whisonant of Winston-Salem.

Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery, Gaffney, Cherokee Co., SC
