Ellen Faye Whistlehunt

BLUEFIELD - Ellen Faye Whistlehunt, 54, of P.O. Box 6231, Bluefield, died on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005 in a Bluefield nursing home.

Born on Feb. 22, 1950 in Welch, she was a daughter of Richard D. and Phyllis Jackson Underwood of Route 1, Bluefield. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 20 years and was a member of the Brushfork Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: Son: Michael Odell Whistlehunt and wife Sherry of Princeton; daughter: Tracie England and husband Stacy of Bluefield; three grandchildren: Tara Whistlehunt, Stacy England Jr., and Brandi England; ex-husband: Odell Whistlehunt of Princeton; one brother: Richard Underwood Jr. and wife Tammy of Bluefield; three sisters: Sherry Smith of Bluefield, Charlotte Parker and husband Duran of Bluefield, Betty Cline and husband David of Tazewell, Va.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. Robert Walker and the Rev. Don Dinger officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. where nephews will serve as pallbearers.
