Anna Mary Whisenhunt (1937-2010)

BONHAM - Funeral services for Anna Mary Whisenhunt, age 73 of Bonham, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday October 26, 2010 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. Rev. Gene Owen and Rev. Brandon Dona will officiate. Interment will follow at the New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Whisenhunt passed away Saturday October 23, 2010 at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano.

Mrs. Whisenhunt was born May 30, 1937 in Providence, R.I., the daughter of Michael and Mary Sydor Moskaluk. She married Larry David Whisenhunt on July 27, 1957 in Woonsocket, R.I. Mrs. Whisenhunt was a homemaker and attended Central Baptist Church in Bonham until her health prevented her from attending.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Whisenhunt of Bonham; daughter, Susan Lynn Colley of Bonham; grandchildren, Austin M. Colley, Loren K. Colley, Brian A. Colley; sister, Dorothy DiPalma and brother, Roy Moskaluk both of Johnston, R.I.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Ann Jacobs; son, David B. Whisenhunt; and her sister, Olga Tarafford.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Whisenhunt, Mickey Workman, Clay Whisenhunt, Phil Whisenhunt, Jerry Workman Jr., and Cecil Bethel.

Family visitation will be held Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
