Betty Mae Stroud Gilcrease
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Stroud Gilcrease, 70, of Winnfield, were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Haley and Kelley Tingle officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield City Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilcrease died Friday, December 16, 1977 in the local hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Winn Parish and a member of South Winnfield Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Noah Gilcrease, Sr., three sons, Jimmy Whisonant, Noah Gilcrease, Jr., and Glenn Gilcrease, all of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Nugent of Winnfield, Mrs. Julie Boyett of Dodson, and Mrs. Jackie Eubanks of Winnfield; two brothers, Eugene Stroud of Pineville and Joe Stroud of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Jarnagin of Winnfield and Mrs. Bessie Spillers of Shreveport; 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
