James Vernon Whisenand

James Vernon Whisenand, 88, Cloverdale, passed away on December 19, 2010. at his residence. He was born on May 12, 1922, in Monroe County, Indiana, and was the son of the late Jonothan Owen and Clarice (Branan) Whisenand.

He was retired from the Maintenance Department at Community East Hospital, Indianapolis. He loved golf, bowling, and fishing.

He is survived by his long time companion and friend, Anna M. Mobley, Cloverdale; his children, Teresa Lloyd, James Curtis Whisenand, his stepchildren, LuAnn G0nzales, Linda Willoughby, Laura Carlyle, Lisa Wainscott, Lois Mobley, and James Mobley.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Bloomington, with Terry Englert officiating.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richy Lee Whisenand, and his brother, John Whisenand.
