Ida Whisante
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Ida Whisante, 60, of Lacey's Spring will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Matroni officiating.
Burial will be in Lipscomb Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at her daughter's home in Lacey's Spring from today at noon until Monday at 1 p.m. The body will be at her daughter's home during that time.
Mrs. Whisante died Friday, March 10, 2000, at her home. She was born July 18, 1939, in Madison County to Jessie and Daisy Dean Davis Bradford. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Mike McQuiston and Donnie Whisante, both of Lacey's Spring, Billy Stover of Huntsville and Harless Whisante of Valhermoso Springs; four daughters, Anita McQuiston and Jackie Epling, both of Lacey's Spring, Carol Jean Duke of Somerville and Sandy Taybor of Huntsville; one brother, Houston Bradford of Valhermoso Springs; two sisters, Inez Ashley of Lacey's Spring and Bethal Parcus of Lincoln; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Lanier, Audy Parcus, John Parcus, Monrow Parcus, Al Thompson and Robby Thornberry.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
