Eltha Whisenhunt

BIG SPRING — Services for Eltha Beulah Bryant Whisenhunt, 82, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken McMeans, pastor of College Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Park under the direction of Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1918, in Gorman. She moved to Big Spring in 1934. She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1936. She married Bill Whisenhunt on June 13, 1941.
She was employed for the City of Big Spring for 14 years. She also worked for A.J. Pirkle and Bonnie Bennett Insurance. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Big Spring for more than 60 years. She attended "The Questers," a Sunday school class.
Survivors include a son, Fred White of Big Spring; two brothers, A.T. Bryant of Amarillo and Weldon Bryant of Big Spring; two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
