J.B. Whisenhunt

COLEMAN - J.B. Whisenhunt, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002 at Coleman Medical Center. Services are 3:30 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Coleman City Cemetery.

Mr. Whisenhunt was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Merkel to the late Monroe Wesley and Myrtle May Whisenhunt. He married Joyice Simpson Dec. 31, 1959. Mr. Whisenhunt was retired from General Tire and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joyice Whisenhunt of Coleman; two daughters, Joan Cullins of Coleman and Katrina Jean Doggett of Abilene; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
