Petty, Wanda Sue (Ringgold)

Wanda Sue Petty, 60, died Saturday, September 29, 2007.
She had lived in the North Georgia and Alabama area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Frankie Petty; and three brothers, J.B., Doyle and Alvin Petty.
Survivors include two sons, Scottie Cargal, of Ringgold, and Hugh Boyd “ Peanut” Whisenant III, of Pisgah, Ala.; two daughters, Rhonda Crowder, of Fort Oglethorpe, and Michelle “Baby” Lynn Whisenant, of Harrison; two sisters, Juanita Beck, of Dyer, Ind., and Lillian Holsomback, of Ringgold; six grandchildren, Brandy Bales, Scottie Cargal Jr., Jodie Whisenant, Tommy Cargal, Wyatt Whisenant and Emma Whisenant; three great-grandchildren, Christian White and Braden and Jordan Bales; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel with Brother Bill Licklitter and Brother Johnny Marcus officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gordy Cemetery on Saunders Road.
The family will begin receiving friends after 5 p.m. Sunday and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the Wallis-Stewart Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes, Ringgold, Ga.
