Herman Whisenant

Funeral for Herman Whisenant, 84, of Moulton will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Kennard Devaney officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Whisenant, who died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, was born June 7, 1926, in Lawrence County. He was a Baptist and was a member of Owens Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ona Whisenant; and two brothers, Hoyt Whisenant and Talmage Whisnant.
