September 5, 1973 Mrs. Whisenant, 85, Succumbs; Rites Saturday

Mrs. Oler Gorham Whisenant, 85, of Winnfield died Friday, August 31,
1973 at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Southern
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Yocum and the Rev. Billy
Smithart officiating. Burial was in the Gorhamtown Cemetery.

Survivors include four sons, Detroy Whisenant, A. T. Whisenant,
Arles Whisenant, and Arlen Whisenant, all of Winnfield; two
daughters, Mrs. Jessie Mae Vallery and Mrs. Lee Ether Lowery, both
of Winnfield; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
