There was always plenty of time for her family and she never hesitated to come up with a reason to get family members together. An avid golfer until just a couple of years ago, Janecy and Roy were early members of Royal Poinciana Golf Club. Janecy was an active member of Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church and especially enjoyed being part of the Gourmet Cookers at the church. After a stroke in October, 2010, Janecy was unable to continue with her church volunteer work and also had to discontinue playing bridge which she enjoyed so much.

Janecy will be remembered as the consummate lady, a devoted wife and mother, and a role model for all. She never missed an opportunity to share her experiences, guidance, and thoughtful ways with her family and others. She died with a smile on her face knowing she would finally be reunited with her one and only true love, Roy.

Janecy's funeral will be held at Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church on Saturday, May 7th at 4:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity-by-theCove, specifically for children and youth ministries; 553 Galleon Drive, Naples, FL 34102.
