Vella Mae WHISENANT

Vella Mae Whisenant born June 26, 1921 in Houston, TX, passed away July 16, 2011 in Pearland, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Erna Ansohn; husband, Coleman Whisenant; brother, John Ansohn; sister, Velma Schroeder; and daughter, Priscilla Danely. Vella is survived by her daughters, Pat Danley and Pauline Brannon; grandchildren, Charles Danley, Ray Danley, I.J. Danley, Kyle Danley, Leslie Danley Hamberg, and Shana Allen; and 8 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.

Interment to follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
