Mr. Stephen "Stevie" Bernard Whisenhunt, Jr., 27, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away July 21, 2011. He was born January 29, 1984 in Tampa, Florida to Steve B. Whisenhunt, Sr. and Susan Lynette Cartwright.

Stevie was a resident of DeFuniak Springs and of Christian faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and carpentry work. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Stevie is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Frank and Elizabeth Harper, Haskell and Leitha Cartwright.

Stevie is survived by his mother Susan L. May, son and daughters, Milli Reese Whisenhunt, and twins, Mason Monroe Whisenhunt and Sadie Paige Whisenhunt all of DeFuniak Springs. Florida; his father, Steve Whisenhunt, Sr. and wife Kathleen; two brothers, James A. and Alexander N. Whisenhunt all of Panama City, Florida; maternal grandparents, Haskell and Margaret Cartwright, paternal grandparents, Jack and Fabiola Whisenhunt. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, Indiana. Friends may call at the Dove- Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon, Indiana. Visitation and Funeral Services were held on Tuesday at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
