Nelda Lenora Whisenhunt Driskill Pickard

Nelda Lenora Driskill, 83, flew to her Heavenly home on August 18, 2011. Nelda was born September 5, 1927, in Electra TX to Bascum and Sylvia Gladys Iona (McKinney) Whisenhunt. Nelda enjoyed doing her nails, playing bingo, and collecting trinkets for her curio cabinet. Nelda was a compassionate woman and always took the time to send cards of thanks, condolences, well wishes, and so on.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Major Driskill, and sister, Arlene Wedell.

Survivors include her loving husband of almost two years, Doyle Pickard; son David W. Driskill; brothers Emery W. Whisenhunt, Leonard O. Whisenhunt and wife Nettie, Delos B. Whisenhunt and wife LaVerne; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that she loved immensely.
