Lee Ether Whisenant Lowrey

WINNFIELD — Services for Lee Ether Lowrey will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Revs. Rayford Higgs and Stewart Toms officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Joyce.

Mrs. Lowrey, 88, of Joyce died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998, in Glenwood Regional Medical Center, Monroe.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Lessie Mae Austin of Quitman; two brothers, A.T. Whisenant of Natchitoches and Arlen Whisenant of Pineville; one sister, Jesse [sic Jessie] Mae Vallery of Winnfield; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
