Florence Edna Baker

ODESSA Florence Edna Baker, 89 years of age, passed away in October 4, 2011, at Deering Nursing Center.

She was born on February 23, 1922 in Cheptopa, Kansas to Henry and Martha Kidwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.J. Sonny Baker; brothers, Lawrence Kidwell, Robert Kidwell, James Kidwell and Harry Kidwell; sister, Juanita Davis. She is survived by sons, Jimmy Dale Baker of Odessa, Jesse Lee Whisenant of Kyle, Tx; daughters, Joyce Jean Kuhlmann of Coriscana, Carol Ann Borden of Houston, Tx; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Visitation will be on Thursday with the family to greet friends from 6 pm until 9 pm at Odessa Funeral Home. Graveside services are set for Friday, October 7, 2011, at 3 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Chaplin Ola Harrison officiating.
