Evelyn Wilson Whisenhunt

Evelyn Whisenhunt, 64, passed away Friday October 7, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 2, 1947 in Porum OK to Leon and Mildred (Coughran) Wilson. She attended Texanna and Checotah schools. Evelyn married Earnest Whisenhunt on July 2, 1962. Evelyn was a member of the Lindsey Church; she worked for several restaurants in the Checotah area. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Clayton Leon and Danny Ray. Services are to be held at the Lindsey Chapel Church on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 with Rev. Tim Turner officiating. Burial to follow in the Triplett Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Vic Dowling, Shane Sinex, Vic Dowing Jr., Brittian Sinex, Jeff Wilson, and Kevin Wilson. Services are entrusted to Checotah Funeral and Cremation Service.
