Alice Irene Whisnant

Alice Irene Whisnant, a 60 year resident of Eureka, born in Merritt, British Columbia passed away peacefully in Roseville California on October 29, 2011 at the age of 96. Alice was predeceased by her husband Champ Whisnant, parents Clara and Oscar Meyer and sister Edna Hudson. She is survived by daughters Kay Baker (Fritz) and Betty Pech (Brian), grandsons Michael Pech and Christopher Pech and great grandson Kaiden Pech; sisters Irma Lentz and Hazel Edholm; nieces Diane Clark, Laurie Brown (Buster) and Jill Waite; nephews Doug Hatfield (Sharon), Tom Lentz (Sue), Craig Edholm (Jean) and Jon Edholm. Alice was helped by her friends and neighbors Valentina, Agatha and Larry, Tony and Marta, Syretta and Mike and Jennifer. No services will be held. If you wish to make a memorial donation Alice supported the Shriners Hospital for Children.
