Dennie M. Whisnant

Mr. Dennie M. Whisnant, of Augusta, died on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at University Hospital. He was 51 years old. The family will receive friends today from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The funeral service will follow the visitation today at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Dennie is survived by his siblings, James E. Whisnant, and his wife, Rachel, of Augusta, Dorothy Davis, of Augusta, and Jeff Whisnant and his wife, Janet, of Grovetown; several nieces and nephews.
