James T. Whisenhunt, Jr.

James T. "Jim" Whisenhunt, Jr., 81, of Pine Bluff, AR., died Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

He was born April 12, 1930, in Bethel, Oklahoma, son of James T. and Minnie Sheets Whisenhunt Weatherford.

Mr. Whisenhunt was reared and received his early education in Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Mountain Pine, Arkansas.

He moved to Pine Bluff in 1968 and married Brenda Lou Branch December 26, 1968.

Mr. Whisenhunt worked for Comfort Heating and Air and Ogden's for many years before becoming self-employed.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mr. Whisenhunt was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Whisenhunt of Pine Bluff; three sons, James T. Whisenhunt III of Hot Springs, Timothy Eldon Whisenhust of Pine Bluff and Douglas Ray Lenomond, Jr. of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Donna Smith of Hot Springs and Diane Orsborn of Arkansas; two brothers, James Ray Whisenhunt and Johnny Wayne Weatherford, both of Hot Springs; and numerous grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
