Minnie Lou Whisenhunt

Whisenhunt, Minnie Lou passed away from this life on Feb. 26, 2012. She was born in Hinton, Oklahoma on Sept. 10, 1938, but has lived in Bethany, for the last 48 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy Straily; grandson, Nathan Kirschstein, and her loving husband of 46 years Eual (Abb) Whisenhunt. She is survived by her 3 children Sue Pemberton, Derrell Whisenhunt and Tracy Kirschstein as well as her 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren that she lived to spoil! Minnie loved to read, travel and spoil her loved ones. She was an avid Elvis fan. The world we live in is a little less sweeter, kind and loving without her in it. All who knew her were blessed to have her be a part of their life. Visitation will be Wed. Noon to 8 PM and services will be 10 AM, Thursday, March 1 at Bill Merritt Funeral Home in Bethany, OK. Interment will be in Lula, OK next to Abb.
