Easton Cade Whisenhunt

Easton Cade Whisenhunt, 6, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma received his angel wings and was received by his Lord and Savior on March 8, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by a host of family and friends. Easton was born on August 8, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Doug and Christy (Chuculate) Whisenhunt. He joined Parker Douglas, his older brother, to add to Doug and Christy's joy. Easton and Parker were more than brothers, they were best friends. Laughter was a huge part of his life and it often followed him wherever he went. His lovably mischievous demeanor was often on display when he played with cousins, friends, and especially his baby sister Ella Mae. Easton loved playing soccer and had picked it up quite quickly while playing for the Tahlequah Recreational Soccer Club. In addition to being a great soccer player, he was also a wonderful student. He attended first grade at Greenwood Elementary where he was recently named February's Student of the Month. Easton loved going to church and attending Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Hulbert, OK where he made many new friends. Music was also a big part of his life and he loved singing along to Rock Band on the Wii and his favorite Christian Rock group Skillet. Everywhere that Easton went he lit up the room with his smile. He will be missed by so many. Easton was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Cade; his maternal great-grandparents, Jack and Ella Mae Poor, and Maybelle Chuculate; and his paternal greatgrandmother Novelena Douglas. Easton leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Christy, father Doug, brother Parker and sister Ella Mae all of Tahlequah, OK; great-grandparents Betty Molloy of Checotah, OK, and A.K. Douglas of Chelsea, OK; grandparents Kathy and Jeff Kilpatrick of Cookson, OK, Roger and Gwen Chuculate of Kellyville, OK, Bill Chuculate of Sallisaw, OK, and Larry and Debbie Whisenhunt of Chelsea, OK; uncles Phillip Chuculate and wife Kendra of Keifer, OK; Chris Whisenhunt and wife Lorra of Claremore, OK, Steve and Dan Whisenhunt of Chelsea, OK, and Justin Schultz of Tulsa, OK; aunt Stephanie Harding and husband Craig of Mounds, OK, as well as numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones.
