Wilmer Mack Whisenant

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Alabama City, for Wilmer Mack Whisenant, Gadsden, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Pastor John Woods will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion, Turkey Town. Service entrusted to Gadsden Memorial Funeral Home.

He leaves cherished memories for his son, Randy Whisenant; brother, Azell Whisenant, Ohatchee; adopted sister, Mrs. Lillia Smith, Ohatchee; brother-in-law, Hurtis Woodruff; grandchildren, Mario Jackson, Necole Whisenant, Myron Ellis and Tina Whisenant; great-grandchildren, Mario Jackson Jr. and Ariyanna Gay; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends; special cousins, Omie Curry, Bertha Fleetwood and Lajuanda Fleetwood.

The body will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
