Emmett Perry "Whis" Whisenhunt, Sr

Emmett P. (Whis) Whisenhunt, 64, of 2001 Weberwood Drive, died last night in a Charleston hospital after a long illness.

He was a Westinghouse service manager at Thomas Field Co., and a member of Christ Church Methodist and John Brawley American Legion Post.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; one son, Emmett Jr. of Cleveland, OH. Three sisters, Mrs. Jeannie Davis of Vinemont, Ala., Mrs. J. T. Bates of Addison, Ala. and Mrs. E. L. Thompson of Decatur, Ala.; one brother, S. M. Whisenhunt of Cullman, Ala. and one granddaughter.

The body is at Bartlett Funeral Home.
