MOUNT HOLLY ? Dorothy "Dot" Whisenant Rumfelt, 81, 408 Lowe St., died Sept. 23, 2002, at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia.
She was a native of Catawba County, daughter of the late Waitsel T. Sr. and Ola Setzer Whisenant.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: 2 p.m. Wednesday, First Baptist Church, Belmont
INTERMENT: Pineview Cemetery, Mount Holly
VISITATION: 7-9 tonight, Carothers Funeral Home, Belmont
She was a retired school secretary with the Gaston County School System after 35 years of service and member of First Baptist Church in Belmont.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Graham C. Rumfelt; sons, David and wife Jean Rumfelt, Gastonia, Jimmy and wife Sandra Rumfelt, Belmont; daughter, Donna Rumfelt, Mount Holly; 5 grandchildren, Tammy, Brett, Matthew, Cortney and Trinity Rumfelt
