Bettye Whisnant Wallworth

Bettye (Whisnant) Wallworth, 84, of Little Rock, died Friday, November 2, 2012, in Little Rock.

She was born May 31, 1928, in Little Rock, daughter of the late John C. and Zula (Page) Whisnant.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Wallworth; and a brother and sister-in-law, J. C. Whisnant and Jeri.

She worked in the Media Department for the Little Rock School District, retiring after over 30 years of service. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle (now Parkway Place Baptist) where she devoted many years in the nursery.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Pannell and husband Don, of Beebe; Jim Wallworth and Debra Johnson of Los Gatos, California; Sue Bemberg and husband Jeff of Little Rock; brother, Jack P. Whisnant and wife, Pat of Rochester, Minnesota; grandchildren, Brandon and Blake Pannell, Clay and Nick Bemberg, Nicole, Jared and Lauren Wallworth; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor, Adrian, A. J., Jake, Madison, Breanna and Courtney.

Visitation will be 4:30pm-6:30pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be 10:00am, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, with Danny Burleson officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Crest Memorial Park, by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth
