Ronald Dean "Ronnie" Whisenhunt
Ronald Dean "Ronnie" Whisenhunt, 60, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in his home.
He was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Cecil and Joy (Vaught) Whisenhunt.
He was an employee of Danny Thomas, Co. and was the maintenance supervisor of Glen Oaks and Village Meadows apartment complexes. Ronnie was an avid automobile enthusiast and excelled in the restoration of antique automobiles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Larry and Ricky Whisenhunt and his sister Mary Whisenhunt. He was of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Friday, April 19, 2013 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel.
The burial of his cremains will be in Zoe Cemetery in Zoe, Oklahoma.
Cremation is under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his son, Michael Whisenhunt and his wife Stephanie of Greenwood, Arkansas; a daughter, Lacey Kelley and her husband Scott of Pocola, Oklahoma; his fiancée Ramona Cox and her daughter, Lauren Spicer of Fort Smith, Arkansas; lifelong companion and mother of his children, Connie Whisenhunt of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two sisters, Lois Thompson and her husband Bill of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Sandy Jordan of Blanchard, Oklahoma; three brothers, Tony Whisenhunt and his wife Mildred of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Gene Whisenhunt and his wife Kathy and Forrest Whisenhunt both of Checotah, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Whitney, Lilly, Allie and Kaylee Kelley, Ricky, Boston and Keaton Whisenhunt and Dakota and Aiden Spicer.
