Fay Whisenant Trayler
Fay Whisenant Trayler passed peacefully from this life on the morning of Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the age of 93 years. She will be missed. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, at Lucas Funeral Home. Visitation one hour prior to service. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, in Westlawn Cemetery, Borger. Fay lovingly supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., as well as several orphanages and missionary concerns. Fay was born in Marshall on July 23, 1919, to J.L. and Luceille Whisenant. Fay was a member of the Legacy Church of Christ, North Richland Hills. Fay moved to Hurst in 2001. Fay was predeceased by her beloved husband, Morris; parents, J.L. and Luceille Whisenant; sisters, Jessie Simmons and John Hickerson; brother, Lemar Whisenant. Survivors: She is survived by her children, Meredith Napier, Dana Shirley, and Bill Trayler; nine grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; her sisters, Dan Sawicki, Luceille Thomas, Mable Gray and Vickey Moak; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
