Sheila Renee Whisenhunt Zoltowski

Sheila Renee Zoltowski, 48, went to her Heavenly home to join her Lord and loved ones, June 8, 2013 in Guthrie, OK, as a result of a tragic accident. She was born on November 11, 1964 in Guthrie to Donnie and Carol (Allison) Whisenhunt.

Sheila grew up in Guthrie, graduating from Guthrie High School in 1983. She later attended the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating in the top 2% of her class in Elementary and Secondary Education. She taught 5th grade in Oklahoma City Schools for 18 years. Her students were always very important to her. She was in Who's Who of Teachers in Oklahoma.

She had many friends and she loved her family very much. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, and music but her passion was her 2 small grandsons, Aiden and Austin. Sheila was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Guthrie and Teacher's OETA. She was loved by her family and friends unconditionally. She will be sorely missed.

Sheila is preceded in death by her only sister, Donna Hunter, her grandparents, Orlan and Geraldine Allison and Z.L. and Deborah Whisenhunt.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Tyler Zoltowski and Brooke Zoltowski; her parents, Donnie and Carol Whisenhunt all of Guthrie; nephews, Bradley Hunter of Norman, Dillon Hunter and niece Rayna Hunter and brother-in-law, Russell Hunter all of Yukon, OK; grandsons, Aiden and Austin Zoltowski of Crescent, OK and great-nephews, Coby and Chase Hunter all of Norman, OK.
