Margaret Ann Whisenant, 73, of Arab died Friday, July 26, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Whisenant was born July 9, 1940, in Arab to Lark and Betty Heard Breedwell. She was married to David Kendell Whisenant, who preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2009.

She retired from H.D. Lee Co., where she worked for about 19 years.

She was preceded in death by a son: Charles Wayne Whisenant; brothers: Ewell Breedwell, Lewis Breedwell, Cecil Breedwell, Clyde Breedwell and Billy Breedwell; and sisters: Lois Ditto, Marjorie Breedwell and Edna Mallory.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery.
