Athens — CHANDLER-Sammi Whisenhunt Hogue, 50, Sportsman’s Paradise, Lake Palestine, passed away Aug. 4, 2013 in Tyler.

The daughter of Charles and Mae Whisenhunt, Sammi was born Feb. 6, 1963 in Dallas.

Survivors include: husband Chris Douzart, Chandler; son Michael Doyle Gray, Jr., Brownsboro; daughters Christina Ann Gray, Chandler, Michelle Leigh Gray, Brownsboro, Ashley Nicole Couey, Tyler.
