Walter Woodburn Whisenand

Walter W. Whisenand, 75, of 2071 Monte Vista Ave., La Habra, died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Bloomington, Ind., Mr. Whisenand was a resident of La Habra for 20 years and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mary Katherine of the family home; three sons, Walter B. Whisenand of Sacramento, James F. of the U. S. Air Force in England and George V. Whisenand of Honolulu; and two grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be this evening at 7 in Coleman Mortuary Chapel, La Habra. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, La Habra, with the Rev. David Coleman officiating. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
