John Wallace Whisnand

Memorial services for John Wallace Whisnand age 85 of Whitewright will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. John passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at Meadowbrook Care Center in Van Alstyne. He was born March 28, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Burt and Violet Hood Whisnand. He was a retired Property Manager and a Methodist. He is survived by his son, Brian Whisnand and his wife Karen of Whitewright. Daughter, Leslie Ardis and 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, wife Caroline and a daughter Rhonda. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.
