Levi Wayne Whisnant

Levi Wayne Whisnant, infant son of Joshua and Lesli Hobbs Whisnant of Morganton, died Thursday, January 30, 2014.

In addition to his parents, Levi is survived by his sister, Haley Elizabeth Whisnant of the home; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and George Smith of Gastonia, NC, maternal great-grandparents, Betty Hobbs of Marion, and Carl and Priscilla Meyers of Morganton, NC, paternal grandparents, Jerry and Debra Whisnant of Morganton; paternal great-grandparents, Martha Whisnant, Derryl Fox, and Dennis Warren, all of Morganton; aunts and uncles, Michael and Dena Shotwell and their children, Brittany and Dillon, Amber and Zeke Earle and their daughter, Maddy, Dustin and Christi Hobbs, Megan and Mark Brooks and their son, Julius, Kayla Hobbs, Alyssa Hobbs, and Bethany Hobbs; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Calvary Assembly of God with Rev. Duane Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
