Obituary

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Ronnie C. Whisnant, of Hephzibah, entered into rest on, Monday, February 17, 2014. He was 57 years old. Mr. Whisnant is survived by his wife, Cindy Whisnant; his children; Elizabeth Liz Williams (Dan), Jeffrey Whisnant, Valerie Whisnant, Ron Whisnant, and Von Whisnant; his sisters, Debra Hancock, Faye Whisnant, Ruby Whisnant, Connie Thomas, Melissa Gibbs, Melissa Roberts, Crystal Whisnant; and thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn and Julia Hutto Whisnant; and his brother, Bobby Whisnant. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Georgia. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
