MISHAWAKA - Billie J. Martin, 78, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, in Sanctuary at Holy Cross. Billie was born October 28, 1935, to the late Hazel G. and Hester L. (Whisenhunt) Suit in Mena, AK. The family then moved and resided in Niles, MI. On May 28, 1953 in Mishawaka, IN, she was married to Frederick Martin, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Jeannette (Donald) Miller, of Lynxville, WI, Frederick (Terri) Martin II, of KY, Cheryl Martin, of San Francisco, CA, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Billie was a member of Calvary Chapel. She was also a life member of both V.F.W. 360 Auxiliary and Cooties. Visitation for Billie will be held on Sunday March 9, 2014, from 2-6 pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will be held on Monday March 10, 2014, at 11 am with visitation one hour prior in the funeral home.
