Elva Mae Whisonant (1947 - 2014)

Elva Mae Whisonant, age 66, of Conway, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was born June 8, 1947, a daughter of the late Henrietta Rohlman and Alvie Norman.

Elva was a retired LPN from CHDC and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Audrey Ray Whisonant; daughter, Carrie Moore (Wendell) of Mansfield, Texas; sister, Debbie Forrester (Samuel Strickland) of Conway; grandchildren, David Cagle, Daisha Cagle (Stephon) of Conway, Aaron Bennett (Haley) of North Little Rock, and Natasha Ryan of Mansfield, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jacoby Cagle, Stephon Wade Jr. and Blake Bennett; nephew, Jason Forrester; great-niece, Cortney Forrester; and great-nephew, Cameron Forrester and Shannon Forrester, all of Greenbrier; and stepchildren, Loretta Moore and Carol Kilpatrick, both of Morrilton, Audrey Henson (Junior) of Conway and Chris Whisonant of Atlanta, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Terri Walls.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Harris Chapel. Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
