Lola Kathryn (Katie) Whisenhunt

February 19, 1929 - October 12, 2012

Whisenhunt, Lola Kathryn (Katie), was born February 19, 1929 in Muskogee, Ok and died on October 12, 2012. She was preceded in death by: her parents Charles T and Nell Traylor, her husband of 61 years, Cherry (Jerry) Whisenhunt, and a granddaughter Joanna Elaine Whisenhunt.

Survived by three children Charles (Sheila), Clint (Rebecca) all of Tulsa and Catherine (Michael) Yox of Tierra Verde, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer White (Adam), Nancy Ilfrey (Wayne) of Houston, TX, and Max Whisenhunt (Lenka) of Dubai, UAE, Katy student Tulane Law School in New Orleans, LA. There are five great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Annabelle White, Jackson and Magdalena Whisenhunt, and Barbara Grace Ilfrey.

Retired from University of Tulsa, Department of Chemical Engineering, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Viewing will be Stanleys in Tulsa on Tuesday, October 16, and services at Christ United Methodist Church, Wednesday, October 17, 10:00 am. Family burial will be at Floral Haven.
