Patricia Ellis

SHELBY - Patricia Whisnant Ellis, 74, of College Avenue, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Lorene Hardin Whisnant.

She retired from Kemit Electronics and was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her faithfulness and love for her Lord and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Ellis.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Nicki Huntsinger and husband, the Rev. Douglas of Elgin, S.C., and Jodi Parker of Shelby; two sisters, Billie Hamrick of N. August, Ga., and Beth Stewart of Shelby; and four grandchildren, Erika and Kyle Huntsinger, and Jake and Luke Parker.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and other times at the home of her daughter, Jodi, 3009 Downing St., Shelby.
