Nell Leona Jenkins

CLOVER - Nell Leona Whisnant Jenkins, 101, formerly of Adams Road, died Thursday, May 1, 2014, at White Oak Manor, Rock Hill, S.C. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Woodside Cemetery, with the Rev. Evan English officiating. Mrs. Jenkins was born March 14, 1913, in York County, S.C., to the late Edward Moore and Margaret Brown Whisnant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zeb Brice Jenkins and two sons, Joseph F. Jenkins and Max Jenkins. Survivors are her daughters, Ruth J. Hunsucker and Dorothy J. Young, both of Rock Hill, S.C.; son, James E. Jenkins of Clover, S.C.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Clover ARP Church, 127 Kings Mountain St., Clover, SC 29710. M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover, S.C., is serving the family of Mrs. Jenkins.
