Joe Whisenant

Joe Whisenant, 91, of Keller, TX, passed away Tues., May 20, 2014, in Keller.

Mr. Whisenant was a Baptist and a Mason.

He retired as an Aircraft Inspector. Born in Farmersville, TX and served in the U.S. Navy in WWII.

Mr. Whisenant was preceded in death by his wife: Julia "Judy" Whisenant in Jan. 2014. He is also preceded by grandson: Dallas Whisenant; his parents and 2 brothers.

His surviving relatives are son: Lowery Whisenant and wife Barbara, Keller, TX; 2 grandsons: Travis and wife April, Bridgeport, TX, Garrett and wife Jaclyn, Frisco, TX; 4 great-grandchildren: Abagail, Savannah, Gannon and Whitley.

Mr. Whisenant's funeral will be Fri., May 23, 2014, 1:00 pm at Hurst's-Fielder-Baker Funeral Chapel in Farmersville. There will be a brief visitation for Mr. Whisenant beginning 12 noon prior to service. Burial will be I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Farmersville. Hurst's-Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville in charge of arrangements.
