Adreath Whisenhunt (May 18, 1937 – July 11, 2014)

Adreath Whisenhunt passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones on July 11, 2014. Adreath was born in Mina, Arkansas. In 1954, he moved to Crescent City, where he met his beautiful wife Jo-Ann. He worked at McNamara & Peepe Lumber for 35 years. Adreath had many hobbies, family first then hunting, fishing, camping and his wood work.

Surviving are his wife Jo-Ann Whisenhunt; his four daughters Debbie, Avis, April and Tammy; his son-in-law; one adopted son; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members. Adreath will join his one granddaughter in heaven to rejoice together.

The family requests contributions be made in his memory to either the American Heart Association, PO Box 742030, Los Angeles, CA 90074-2030, or American Cancer Society, 1301 Northcrest Drive, Crescent City, CA 95531 or to one’s favorite charity.

Private family services will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.
