Azell Whisenant

Azell Whisenant transitioned on August 1, 2014. The celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m. today, August 9, 2014 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Ohatchee. Pastor Howard Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church cemetery. He leaves cherished memories for his daughters, Lillia Smith, of Ohatchee, Patricia and Barbara Whisenant, both of Akron, Ohio and Lillian Ingram, of Gadsden; sons, Azell Whisenant Jr., Jimmy L. Whisenant, both of Akron, Ohio and Feordis Pearson, of Birmingham; brother-in-law, Hurtis Woodruff, of Wellington; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Gadsden Memorial Funeral Home directing.
