Martha Ellen Gibbs Whisenhunt

Daughter of Isom Gibbs and Mollie A. Summit Gibbs. She married William Doyle Whisenhunt on June 11, 1938.

Martha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was passionately loved by her family, extended family and friends. She was devoted to the former Evening Light Tabernacle of Mt. Ida which was ministered by her husband for approximately 50 years.

Besides her husband of 76 years, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; and one daughter and son-in-law.

She was the beloved "Mamaw" to seven grandchildren and their spouses; She was the great grandmother of nine; and the great-great grandmother of three. She also leaves one surviving sister of Mt. Ida.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Devra Ann.
