Mitchell was born October 27, 1987, in Longview, Texas, to Shawn and Martha Whisenhunt. He graduated from White Oak High School in May 2006. Mitchell was involved in band and the WO Drumline. He was also in theatre and bowling. Mitchell's dream was to become a zoologist. He married Ashley Nicole Hall, his first and forever love on July 10, 2010. Mitchell is remembered most from working at Fastrack, where he met Ashley, but his passion was working at Target in Longview. Mitchell and Ashley lost several babies before welcoming their miracle baby, Brynleigh, in April 2013. His daughter will always remember him as a man of God and who loved his family dearly. Mitchell was very passionate about being the best daddy he could possibly be. One of his most prized passions was writing. Before his passing, Mitchell wrote his daughter letters for each birthday starting with the 2nd up to her 18th, as well as a letter to her for her graduation and for the day she is to get married. This is a true reflection of his character and who Mitchell really was. A loving, caring husband, father, son and friend.
