Ola Croft

Services for Ola Croft age 85, of Palestine will be at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Bro. Nolan Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Croft died Saturday at Castle Pines Health and Rehab Center in Lufkin. She was born January 12, 1929 in Thorndale to Ivan Bailey and Alberta Marie Smith Fox. Mrs. Croft was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Lufkin. Mrs. Croft was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lyndel Croft, a sister Lilly McGill, brothers, James Fox, Harold Fox and Nolan Fox, and two great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Jones and husband John, and Linda Sue Simcoe and husband William, two sons, Larry Whisenant and wife Donna, and Bobby Whisenant and wife Karen all of Lufkin, a sister Shirley Bentley and husband Homer, brothers, Ray Fox and wife Pat and Edwin “Buck” Pitts all of Palestine, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Condolence calls will be received one hour prior to service.
