Catherine Louise Whisenhunt

Funeral services for Catherine Louise Schmuck Whisenhunt, age 80 of Vinemont, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church with Father Patrick Eagan and Deacon Bill Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Whisenhunt passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born August 2, 1934 in Cullman to the late Joseph and Barbara Schmuck. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Whisenhunt; a son, John Whisenhunt; three brothers, Frank Schmuck, Joseph Buddy Schmuck and Albert Schmuck; and a sister, Elizabeth Schmuck.

Survivors include two sons, Bill (Ellesha) Whisenhunt and Michael Whisenhunt; four daughters, Margaret (Bobby) Wiley, Tina (Richard) Craft, Angela (Keith) Perry and Suzanne Whisenhunt (Partner Jan Wallace); a daughter-in-law, Joyce Whisenhunt; three sisters, Margaret Schmuck Wiley, Frances Mercer and Marie Ilderton; a brother, Anthony (Tony) Schmuck; ten grandchildren, Bryan Wiley, Daniel Wiley, Patrick Wiley, Nathan Whisenhunt, Chad Whisenhunt, Miranda Whisenhunt Reeves, Sarah Craft Pryor, Fred Tyler Craft, Ashley West and Tessa Whisenhunt; 12 great-grandchildren; and her special companion, her dog, Little Pig.

Visitation will be Friday evening at Sacred Heart Church from 6:00 until 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:30.
