Lillie Whisonant Good

CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Good, after celebrating her 103rd birthday on October 14th, transitioned peacefully at home on Saturday, December 27, 2014, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's. Lillie overcame breast cancer at age 91 and major surgery at age 96. Her love of God, loving smile, common sense and problem solving were trademarks of this remarkable lady. Lillie leaves loving memories to her devoted daughter, Dr. Mary H. Whisonant, Huntersville, NC and her companion, Richard Walker; a sister, Pheobe Whisonant, Charlotte, NC; nieces Lillie Mae Adams, Ft. Mill, SC, Daisy Lee Johnson, Brooklyn, NY and a special niece, Ramona Whisonant, Charlotte, NC; and relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 517 Baldwin Ave., Charlotte, NC with Visitation - 11:00 A.M., Funeral - 12:00 Noon and Eastern Star - 11:45 A.M.
